It’s not easy to get around in most towns in Newfoundland and Labrador without a reliable vehicle. It’s harder when you have kids and so many places to go; oh, and the nearest hockey rink, ballet class, or job is more than 45 minutes away in Marystown.

Some people might take it for granted that they can just hop in the car and go wherever they need to. Not me.
